1978 Rover SD1 BARN FIND ex film car police, low mileage, drive away

£2650
1978 Rover SD1 2600Has been off the road dry stored for many years, we don't know much history but we do know it was a nice genuine low mls car that was converted to look like a 1970's police car for film work years ago, maybe it was in "THE BILL" but we don't have any info on that.It has only 65,000 mls recorded and only 2 previous owners, the last one since 1981 !Runs and drives fine and it is supplied with 11 months mot which it passed with no advisoriesThe bodywork is in excellent original condition and appears to have never been welded, there is the odd age related mark here and there but but nothing really noticeable. The inner wings and sills are like newAs far as we know it has never been a police car and if the new owner preferred the graphics could easily be removed. The police blue light is working but has now been de activated as per ebay rules on selling ex police and fire vehicles. The seats and interior are in very good condition but the headlining would benefit from replacement, the carpets also need a good clean.I would expect serious buyers to either come and look or at least contact me to talk about the car.Any questions give me a call on 07971-845395.We may be able to deliver (our postcode is postcode BL2 5PF) we can store the car for a couple of weeks after the auction if needed but it must be paid for within 5 days of the auction ending.NO BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN 20 POSITIVE FEEDBACK UNLESS WE ARE CONTACTED FIRST EITHER BY EMAIL OR ON THE ABOVE NUMBER.THE WINNING BIDDER MUST PAY £250 DEPOSIT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE AUCTION ENDING, THIS IS NON NEGOTIABLE, FAR TOO MANY TIMEWASTERS ON HERE LATELY. 1966 Triumph Herald 1200, low mileage, very original, drives very well

£2350
1966 Triumph Herald 120061,000 mls very original car, 90% of the paintwork looks original, very straight down the sides with nice fitting panels which is rare for one of these !Finished in Spruce over Cactus green with cardinal red interiorWe drove it from Aberdeen to Bolton yesterday which was 337 mls in one 6 hour drive and it never missed a beat, the previous owner drove it daily.Mot'd until October, it is excellent underneath, the interior is in great condition although the headlining will require replacement. The bodywork has been touched up over the years on all four wheel arches to make it mint I would paint just the lower half (the dark green section) that's not an essential job though as it looks very smart as it is.There is a small rust hole on the inside of the front wheel arch, of course its not structural and wont fail an mot but really needs doing (see pic)A great classic that can be used every day.I would expect serious buyers to either come and look or at least contact me to talk about the car.Any questions give me a call on 07971-845395.We may be able to deliver (our postcode is postcode BL2 5PF) we can store the car for a couple of weeks after the auction if needed but it must be paid for within 5 days of the auction ending.NO BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN 20 POSITIVE FEEDBACK UNLESS WE ARE CONTACTED FIRST EITHER BY EMAIL OR ON THE ABOVE NUMBER.THE WINNING BIDDER MUST PAY £250 DEPOSIT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE AUCTION ENDING, THIS IS NON NEGOTIABLE, FAR TOO MANY TIMEWASTERS ON HERE LATELY. 1971 Mercedes 280 SE BARN FIND will make a great car, easy project, engine runs

£6900
1971 Mercedes 280 SE Parked unused in an underground London car park since 2004, Showing 6700 mls on the clock, we assume that means 106,000 although there are mot's going back to 1995 showing only 5,500 mls ?This Mercedes is from the era when they were properly built to last for maybe a million miles,  unlike the plastic things they build nowadays that are written off because a dash light illuminates !!!Only 2 previous ownersvery good bodywork and underneath looks sound, wings are excellent with no corrosion, inner wings like new, a couple of blisters on the bottoms of the doors, rear arches are very good, while stored someone has keyed both front wings and it wont polish out, it really needs both sides painting to make it very nice.On the n/s sill there is a dent where it appears to have slipped off a jack, this will need attention, its not a big job but will need a small piece welding in there. The interior is in exceptional condition as you can see in the photos,  we have had the engine running using a slave fuel supply because we don't want to drag stale fuel through the fuel system.I would expect serious buyers to either come and look or at least contact me to talk about the car.Any questions give me a call on 07971-845395.We may be able to deliver (our postcode is postcode BL2 5PF) we can store the car for a couple of weeks after the auction if needed but it must be paid for within 5 days of the auction ending.NO BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN 20 POSITIVE FEEDBACK UNLESS WE ARE CONTACTED FIRST EITHER BY EMAIL OR ON THE ABOVE NUMBER.THE WINNING BIDDER MUST PAY £250 DEPOSIT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE AUCTION ENDING, THIS IS NON NEGOTIABLE, FAR TOO MANY TIMEWASTERS ON HERE LATELY.
